Sierra Controllers ships first Production CNC
Carriage to PHI Corporation.
The first production CNC Carriage was recently
delivered to PHI in City of Industry, CA. The carriage is
being installed on their model 210 bender and will be on display at
Fabtech this coming October. See this machine and carriage in
operation at PHI's booth and see us at our booth with our
controllers and carriage.
COMPTROL CNC Module is complete
The COMPTROL CNC module is a plug in replacement for the controller
chip in the COMPTROL Horizontal Bender controller to give full CNC
capability to a wide range of benders. The module is currently
being beta tested on a Leonard Precision CNC machine. The
module is capable of driving servo, stepper, brushed and brushless
motors up to 200 VDC.
Sierra Controllers Integral Bending Solution
Sierra Controllers is working hard to bring to the industry an
Integral Bending Solution (IBS). This total package consists
not only of regular and CNC Controllers, retrofit drive packages and
carriages, but also devices to design and check the pipe and tubing
products. These devices include automated fixture tables for
checking 3-D parts and bend protractors for measuring individual
bends.
